Get help with the Citt.ai Audio Capture Chrome Extension
Quick Help
Installation
- Open Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/ - Enable "Developer mode" (toggle in top-right corner)
- Click "Load unpacked" button
- Select the extension folder
- Extension is now installed and ready to use
How to Use
- Open a telehealth meeting in your browser (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams)
- Navigate to your Citt.ai session page
- Click "Start Recording" button
- The extension will automatically capture tab audio
- Audio streams to Citt.ai for transcription
Troubleshooting
Extension not showing in Chrome
Make sure Developer mode is enabled. Go to chrome://extensions/ and toggle Developer mode in the top-right corner.
Audio not capturing
Ensure you're on the correct browser tab with the telehealth meeting active. The extension captures audio from the active tab only.
Permission errors
Chrome may ask for tab permissions when you first use the extension. Click "Allow" to grant necessary permissions for audio capture.
Extension not connecting to Citt.ai
Verify you're logged into your Citt.ai account and on a valid session page. Check that your browser allows connections to www.citt.ai.
